Written for beginners.
Taught online, with a cohort: everyone starts on the same day and moves through the programme together.
Learners progress from QA, SDLC and STLC fundamentals to manual test design, web application testing, browser DevTools, API testing, defect management and Agile team collaboration. The programme uses realistic software scenarios and industry-standard QA terminology. Each learning cycle combines instructor explanation, demonstrations, guided examples, independent study and feedback. Learners develop test cases, analyse requirements, document defects, collect evidence, execute regression testing and communicate findings clearly. The programme concludes with an end-to-end product testing project covering requirements, test scenarios, execution evidence, bug reports, regression results and a final test summary. Learners leave with a structured QA portfolio and a clearer understanding of professional testing workflows.
6 outcomes, each one assessed.
Each outcome is judged on the work you hand in, and the result is recorded on your learning record.

What you hand in
Each piece is reviewed by the academy's assessors, and the result is recorded on your learning record.
Requirements Analysis and Manual Test Design
Analyse a realistic product brief and produce traceable, risk-aware manual test coverage that an assessor can approve as evidence of requirements interpretation and test design.
Web and API Test Execution Pack
Execute selected web and API tests and submit reliable evidence of test results, including any failures that require investigation.
Defect Investigation and Reporting Pack
Investigate observed failures and produce reproducible, well-evidenced defect reports that an assessor can approve as professional defect communication.
QA Status and Risk Update
Prepare a concise stakeholder update that communicates progress, findings, blockers, residual risk and recommended next steps for a testing cycle.
End-to-End QA Project
Complete and present a portfolio-ready QA project covering requirements analysis, test coverage, execution evidence, defect reporting, regression results and a final test summary for assessor approval.
